About this expansion

Solitaire ASL is a one-player World War II tactical warfare module for the Advanced Squad Leader system, with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. Released in 1995, it is designed for solo play and has a very high complexity rating.

This module requires Advanced Squad Leader, Beyond Valor: ASL Module 1, and Yanks: ASL Module 3. Game boards are not included, and ownership of the non-desert mapboards of the ASL System is recommended to make full use of the system.

The first edition includes 260 counters, 14 solitaire missions, four Generation Cards, an ASL Chapter S, and an ASL Chapter S divider. The missions cover a broad range of situations, including Cautious Advance, Bunker Busting, Enemy Offensive, Tank Attack!, Human Wave, and The Bridge.

The second edition expands Solitaire ASL with eight additional Generation Cards, seven more missions, and 260 additional counters. Its expanded mission list includes Pursuit, Airlanding, River Assault!, Bridgehead, Escape!, Amphibious Assault, and Beach Defense.

As an expansion for Advanced Squad Leader, Solitaire ASL is intended for players who already have the required modules and want a dedicated solitaire experience built around the system’s tactical warfare framework.
