About this expansion

Railroad Ink: Eldritch Expansion Pack is an expansion for the Railroad Ink puzzle game, supporting 1–4 players and about 30 minutes of play. It adds four special dice to the regular Route dice, giving everyone new ways to develop their networks and score points.

In each round, the dice rolled in the middle of the table determine the roads and railway routes available to all players. Use the Eldritch dice alongside your regular dice to connect exits on your board while exploring strange supernatural possibilities.

• Ritual die: Open new Portals and add mysterious Rituals to create a Madness Network.
• Portal die: Connect distant areas of your network through different supernatural Portals.
• Tentacle die: Extend Tentacles along your network and gain bonus points for each space they occupy.
• Investigation die: Send your Investigator to collect Clues, solve the case, and earn extra points.

These four dice introduce fresh objectives and unusual scoring opportunities to the familiar route-building puzzle. Decide how to fit each supernatural element into your board as you work to connect as many exits as possible.

Railroad Ink: Eldritch Expansion Pack requires at least one core set of Railroad Ink or Railroad Ink Challenge to play. Add it to your game for a mysterious new layer of network planning, from building a Madness Network to pursuing clues and spreading tentacles across your board.
