About this expansion

The Witcher: Old World – Lost Mount is a 2023 expansion for 1–5 players, designed for games lasting about 150 minutes. It introduces a wandering Lost Mount that can appear anywhere on the board and provide a temporary travel opportunity.

At the beginning of the game, the Lost Mount is placed in a random location. Its position creates a moving objective for the witchers as they explore the board and try to encounter it during play.

When a player reaches a location containing the Lost Mount, they can use it to travel. Doing so grants them additional cards for their journey, giving the encounter a distinct travel-focused benefit.

But the mount never stays in one place for long. After it is used, the Lost Mount is lost again and moves to another location, waiting for the next witcher to find it.
