Star Wars: The Card Game – Escape from Hoth is a two-player Force Pack for a 60-minute Star Wars card game experience, released in 2013. It brings the Battle of Hoth to a dramatic conclusion as the Rebel Alliance struggles to escape Echo Base.

The Rebel base has been breached by Imperial snowtroopers, while Star Destroyers wait to prevent ships from leaving the Hoth system. General Veers drives his massive AT-AT toward the primary shield generator, and Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia Organa race to buy time for the evacuation.

As the final Force Pack in The Hoth Cycle, Escape from Hoth closes the cycle’s focus on the Hoth trait. The Force shifts toward the dark side with three of the five new objective sets, including one that introduces the Super Star Destroyer, Executor.

Although the Empire deploys powerful Vehicles and hunts the remnants of the Rebellion, the light side is not ready to surrender. Luke, Leia, Han, and their allies must keep hope alive as they seek a path off the frozen planet.

Escape from Hoth gives the cycle a climactic farewell, placing the future of the Rebel Alliance in the balance. Will the heroes escape to plan their next strike, or will the Empire finally snuff out the fires of freedom?
