ASL Action Pack #11: 29 Let’s Go!

About this expansion

ASL Action Pack #11: 29 Let’s Go! is a two-player Advanced Squad Leader action pack featuring ten scenarios about the U.S. 29th Infantry Division in Northwest Europe.

The 29th was a National Guard division filled out by draftees, with regiments whose histories reached back before the American War of Independence and through the American Civil War. Known as the Blue and Gray Division, it fought from D-Day to VE-Day under Major General Charles H. Gerhardt and suffered more than 20,000 battle casualties.

This pack follows the division through varied actions from 6 June to 4 October 1944. The scenarios range from Dog Green Beach at Vierville-sur-Mer and Pointe-du-Hoc to the bocage, fortified positions in France, and Breberen in Germany.

The scenarios include When I Call Roll, Better Late Than Never, That Damn Bridge, Linkup, and Cota’s Last Stand? for actions in June. Later engagements include Helluva Patrol Leader, Better Fields of Fire, Yes Sir!, Not Bad For A Lone Croc, and Display Of Enthusiasm.

With settings spanning France from the Normandy coast to Fort Montbarey and Kerrognant, then reaching Germany, ASL Action Pack #11: 29 Let’s Go! presents a focused collection of 29th Infantry Division actions. Its boards and overlays are also intended for use in actions throughout Northwest Europe.
