About this expansion

Rajas of the Ganges: Tiger Expansion is a 2018 promo expansion for 2–4 players, with games taking about 75 minutes. It adds four province tiles—one in each of the four colors—to the game.

Mix each tile into the tiger pile of its matching color. To acquire one, carry out a normal building action and give up two dice of the tile’s color, with the dice showing any values. Once placed in your province, the tile provides an immediate benefit and a permanent gain.

  • Ashoka Pillar: Receive 1 money for every province tile already in your province, including the Ashoka Pillar. Permanently, when you use karma to turn a die to the number on its opposite side, you may adjust the result by +1 or -1.
  • Akbar’s Bridge: Take the earnings again from the river space where your boat currently stands. Permanently, every time you move your boat, you may move it 1 space farther than indicated.
  • Black Market: Take any 2 dice from the supply. Permanently, whenever you use a balcony in the palace, exchange 1 die of any color for 2 dice in any of the four colors.
  • Imperial Flag: Use again the function of an action space occupied by one of your workers, paying dice and/or money if required. Permanently, for a palace action, use a die that is 1 higher or 1 lower than the required number.

For the Imperial Flag’s permanent ability, die values wrap around: a 1 can count as a 2 or a 6, for example. With flexible dice conversion, extra river earnings, and repeated action opportunities, Rajas of the Ganges: Tiger Expansion offers four distinct ways to strengthen your province.
