About this expansion
Dungeon Lords: Dungeon-Setup Tiles is a 2014 expansion module for 2–4 players that changes the beginning of the game with different starting dungeons.
Instead of beginning with the same setup, players can use a Dungeon Setup Card depicting a distinct place to establish their dungeon. These cards give the opening of the game a new perspective and introduce a range of possible starting environments.
Will your dungeon occupy an abandoned hideout, take shape inside a natural cave, or begin in a diamond mine? Each setting presents a different image of the underground lair you are ready to establish. The available setup cards include:
- An abandoned hideout
- A natural cave
- A diamond mine
As your imps dig tunnels, they can also discover underground treasures. This adds a thematic element to the opening setup while keeping the focus on the distinctive starting dungeon shown by each card.
Dungeon Lords: Dungeon-Setup Tiles was taken from the Kickstarter campaign for Dungeon Lords: Happy Anniversary. The micro-expansion is offered as a separate module for previous owners, making these alternative dungeon beginnings available beyond that campaign.
