About this expansion

Revolver Expansion 1.3: Vengeance on the Frontier is a two-player card game expansion for Revolver, with games lasting about 45 minutes. Released in 2013, it is the third expansion in the Revolver series.

This expansion introduces a separate, neutral Frontier deck that both players can access during the main game. Players spend dollar coin tokens earned in play to buy cards, adding a new way to make tactical choices and develop their side of the conflict.

  • Purchase cards from a neutral Frontier deck using earned dollar coin tokens.
  • Choose between useful options featured on many of the new cards.
  • Play threats that can affect either player, including the formidable “Old Three Toes” grizzly bear.
  • Customize player decks with new cards for greater variety and replayability.

Vengeance on the Frontier also expands the Hunt the Man Down winning condition introduced for McReady in Revolver. Several cards are useful at the San Manzanillo prison location, giving both players additional possibilities in that part of the game.

With flexible card effects, shared access to the Frontier deck, and new dangers that either player may unleash, Revolver: Vengeance on the Frontier adds fresh decisions to every session. Its deck-customization cards help make successive games less predictable while preserving the focused two-player format of the Revolver series.
