About this expansion

Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North – Wrath of the Lighthouse is a story-driven solo campaign for 1 player, with games lasting around 90 minutes.

Across 15 unique scenarios, you will follow the order of events in the Campaign book and gradually discover how the plot unfolds. Why are more lighthouses appearing along the coast? Why do people oppose rebuilding the cathedral? And what is behind the storms assaulting the seas?

During campaign mode, new card types add lasting consequences and fresh possibilities to the engine-building card game. Event cards introduce the campaign’s unfolding developments, while Legacy locations remain in play from one game to the next. Lighthouse cards are shuffled into the Island decks, bringing the campaign’s central mystery directly into play.

  • 15 unique solo scenarios played in story order
  • A Campaign book with more than 50 story branches
  • Event cards, Legacy locations, and Lighthouse cards
  • 55 cards and a Scenario booklet

For a more flexible experience, each scenario can also be played individually, just like the scenarios in the base game. This makes it possible to explore a specific challenge without following the full campaign sequence.

Designed by Joanna Kijanka, co-designer of the base game and all previously released expansions, Wrath of the Lighthouse combines narrative discovery with the strategic development of Empires of the North. Build your campaign through a chain of scenarios and uncover the story branch by branch.
