Age of Steam Expansion: African Diamond Mines & Taiwan Cube Factories is a railroad expansion for 3–6 players, with games lasting approximately 120 minutes.

This 2011 expansion presents two distinct settings for building and developing rail infrastructure. In African Diamond Mines, players establish a mining railroad deep underground to reach valuable diamonds.

A new depth counter adds an additional level of strategy to the African mines. As the railroad reaches farther underground, this feature becomes a central part of the challenge presented by the map.

Taiwan Cube Factories focuses on production and the growth of new infrastructure. Players combine resources to produce new ones, helping keep Taiwan’s booming development supplied with the materials it needs.
