A Game of Thrones: The Card Game (Second Edition) – Lions of Casterly Rock is a deluxe expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes.

This 2016 expansion places House Lannister in the spotlight, inviting players to explore new strategies and themes. The Lannisters launch ambushes alongside their Clansman allies, intensify their focus on the intrigue challenge, and send marauders across Westeros to pillage its lands.

Lions of Casterly Rock also introduces new versions of several of the house’s most iconic figures. Tywin Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Ser Jaime Lannister, and Tyrion Lannister each receive new versions, giving the Lannister collection fresh ways to feature these memorable characters.

Although House Lannister takes center stage, the expansion also adds content for every other faction. Each receives two new non-loyal cards, including new characters entering the game for the first time:

• Victarion Greyjoy
• Trystane Martell
• Jeyne Westerling

Players can further reshape their approach with seven new plots: six neutral plots and one loyal to House Lannister. These additions expand the available plot options while keeping the expansion’s focus on the schemes, rivalries, and shifting power of Westeros.
