Barrage: Executive Officer Promo D is an executive officer addition for Barrage, supporting 1–5 players in games lasting about 120 minutes. Released in 2022 and originally distributed at Modena Play 2022, this promo introduces Franz De Lasse and a focused rule for managing energy during production.

Franz De Lasse changes how your marker advances on the Energy Track when you perform a production action and fulfill a Contract. If the Contract has a lower value than the energy produced, you move your marker only by the exceeding value rather than by the full amount of energy produced.

This ability makes the relationship between Contract value and energy produced central to the officer’s effect. The relevant comparison is applied when both parts of the condition occur: a production action is performed, and a Contract with a lower value than the energy produced is fulfilled.
