About this expansion

Conan: Dragon is a 2016 add-on pack for Conan games, listed for 2–5 players, that brings a fearsome Dragon to the table. It includes the components required for fielding this powerful creature in a Conan game scenario.

Created during the Kickstarter campaign, this expansion focuses on a striking new monster and the materials needed to represent it during play. A detailed plastic Dragon figure gives the creature a substantial presence, while new monster tiles support its use in scenarios.

The Dragon’s appearance draws directly on the vivid imagery of Robert E. Howard’s Red Nails. It is described as a gigantic, crocodile-headed, saurian creature with dripping yellow tusks, huge python-like eyes, a long scaled neck lined with serrated spikes, and a barrel-bellied body carried on absurdly short legs.

Its grotesque design makes the Dragon a memorable addition for players looking to expand the creatures available in their Conan scenarios. The figure’s imposing description and distinctive sculpt help it stand apart from ordinary opponents, turning the pack into a visually dramatic addition to the game.

One production detail is worth noting: because of an unfortunate oversight, the Dragon life point token was not included in the first-edition add-on pack box. Conan: Dragon remains a focused expansion built around one iconic monster, its figure, and the tiles needed to field it.
