About this expansion

Concordia: Gallia / Corsica is a 2016 expansion for Concordia, offering two maps for 2–5 players and games lasting about 90 minutes.

Each map presents a different setting for new strategic challenges. Whether you play across Gallia or navigate the compact provinces of Corsica, both maps bring a distinct shape to your Concordia experience.

In Gallia, you begin with only one land colonist moving around the map. Before you can use your sea colonist as well, you must settle inside one of the harbor cities, creating a specific early objective as you establish your position.

Corsica offers the tightest map ever published for Concordia. With only twenty cities spread across eight provinces, its compact layout provides a focused alternative to the Gallia map.

  • Gallia: Start with one land colonist and settle in a harbor city before using your sea colonist.
  • Corsica: Play on a compact map with twenty cities in eight provinces.
  • Player count: Both maps support all player counts from two to five players.

Although both maps can be played at every supported player count, Corsica is especially intended for two or three players. This makes the expansion a flexible addition for groups seeking different map conditions within Concordia.

With its contrasting maps and clearly different starting considerations, Concordia: Gallia / Corsica gives players two fresh ways to approach the game while staying within the established Concordia setting.
