About this expansion

Concordia: Roma / Sicilia is a 2023 expansion for Concordia, offering two different experiences for 2–5 players in games lasting about 100 minutes.

The expansion provides a double-sided game board, with each side presenting a distinct setting and style of play. Choose Roma to build the eternal city, or travel to the island of Sicilia for a game that can introduce an element of luck.

On the Roma side, players develop the city around famous places from ancient Rome. The board features the Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Circus Maximus, and Pantheon, bringing these renowned locations into the game.

Roma also allows you to send your colonist ships abroad. These voyages provide extra benefits, adding another opportunity to expand what the city can offer during play.

Sicilia presents a different challenge. Coincidental eruptions of the volcano Etna may hit the island, creating a new element of luck as you play. If you prefer to leave that feature out, Sicilia can also be played without the eruption option.
