Darwin’s Journey: Fireland Expansion is a 2023 expansion for 1–4 players with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. It introduces a new map, an alternative board layout, new mechanisms, and additional content.

The expansion adds new components for the game, including wooden ships, wooden explorers, coloured wooden discs, and Special Action tiles. It also provides Player Objective tiles and Crew Cards for further variety.

Adventure content is represented by 21 Adventure Cards covering land and ocean settings, along with 20 wooden Adventure tokens. Four Adventure Player Aid cards are included to support access to this additional content during play.
