About this expansion

Dwellings of Eldervale: Legendary Upgrade Kit is an expansion kit for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 150 minutes, adding eight Elemental Monsters and nine Sound FX Bases to the game.

During play, the Legendary Upgrade Kit gives players a choice of which Elemental Monster appears when a Monster Lair tile is added to Eldervale. Each monster includes three components: a 50mm miniature, a standee as an alternative to using the miniature, and a game card explaining its unique abilities and game effects.

The miniatures are made from colored plastic matching their Element and feature a black wash that highlights the details of each sculpt. The Sound FX Bases add monster sounds: each base contains two sounds and can be used with either the Deluxe or Legendary Monster miniature.

The ninth Sound FX Base is intended for the Frost Giant and Mother of Dragons optional play mini expansions included in the base game set of components. All components in the Legendary Upgrade Kit fit inside the standard base game box, making Dwellings of Eldervale easy to upgrade without additional storage.
