Galaxy Defenders: Extinction Protocol

About this expansion

Galaxy Defenders: Extinction Protocol is an expansion for Galaxy Defenders for 1–5 players, with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. It takes the agents to the invaders’ home planet for a final battle to save the Galaxy from extinction.

The campaign spans six missions set beneath the alien planet. Agents move through dark caves and corridors, cross underground lakes, explore alien temples, and face the ultimate challenge in the Queen’s chamber.

A new system of modular tiles builds the underground battlefield from smaller tiles with a variable number of areas. These tiles remain compatible with the maps of the wider GD Universe, allowing custom missions that combine the new system with standard map tiles.

Danger and opportunity hide in the darkness. Stationary Signals appear on the battlefield and are revealed only when agents approach, potentially uncovering insidious opponents or precious resources. An enhanced security system also protects the underground Alien Base, restricting access to those with the correct encrypted keys.

To confront the planet’s worst threats, agents gain new tools and abilities through the new GD-Ranks. These provide additional skills and tactics, including tactics that can be used without spending actions.

Unlike Power Suits, each Power Armor is unique to its agent. In Galaxy Defenders: Extinction Protocol, these exoskeletons transform the agents into lethal war machines for the climactic fight.
