Galaxy Defenders: Operation Strikeback

About this expansion

Galaxy Defenders: Operation Strikeback is an expansion for 1–5 players, with a playing time of approximately 120 minutes, in which the Agency launches a counterattack against the alien base on the dark side of the Moon.

Continuing the storyline from the Galaxy Defenders Core Set campaign, this expansion includes six missions that introduce new technologies, weapons, alien threats, and terrible creatures. The adventure also marks the first appearance of the Alien Army’s highest-ranked invaders: the deadly Master Aliens.

Master Aliens are represented by purple cards and figures. Their oversized cards are printed on both sides, with each side showing different statistics. During combat, a Master Alien can flip between sides, creating a dynamic and unpredictable opponent.

• Archenemy powers: Master Aliens identify the battlefield’s most dangerous Agent, called the Menacing Agent, and respond to that character’s position rather than simply targeting the closest Agent.
• Power Suits: These versatile new tools improve movement, allow Agents to fly, rescue bleeding companions, and unleash significant firepower.
• Psionic powers: Agents can develop abilities that let them walk through time, cause lethal and critical hits, predict the future, and more.
• NPC allies: Intelligent non-player agents can fight alongside the GD squad through a new AI-driven system.

NPCs use yellow cards and figures, with each card describing a character’s behavior, statistics, abilities, and special tactics. Players can choose to activate an NPC before or after their Agent, while mission signals can introduce NPCs into existing missions.

With new equipment, powers, allies, and formidable enemies, Galaxy Defenders: Operation Strikeback expands the campaign with a more strategic and epic battle for survival.
