About this expansion

High Frontier 4 All: Module 5 – Economy is an economic module for 2–6 players with a play time of 300 minutes, centered on buying and selling shares in aerospace companies.

Company values are tracked in a stock market matrix. The players are the customers for these companies, and a customer service with more customers enables its company to purchase more capital and increase its share value.

When you own the most shares in a company, you become its chair. This position gives you an important decision: determine whether the company pays dividends to its shareholders or reinvests those funds into company capital, allowing the company to offer cheaper services.

  • Buy shares in aerospace companies that are likely to rise in value.
  • Sell shares when your cash could be more useful elsewhere.
  • Use chairmanship to decide between shareholder dividends and reinvestment.
  • Track company value through the stock market matrix.

Shares can be bought and dumped easily, creating a fluid market in which players continually reassess how their money is held. Because shares retain value after an Aqua crash, holding shares is generally superior to holding Aqua.

High Frontier 4 All: Module 5 – Economy adds a focused layer of ownership, company growth, and financial decision-making. Players seek rising share values while balancing immediate cash needs against the potential benefits of dividends, reinvested capital, and cheaper services.
