Hostage Negotiator: Crime Wave is a solitaire board game for 1 player, with sessions lasting about 20 minutes. As a standalone expansion to Hostage Negotiator, it puts you in charge of conversations with a hostage taker.

Each turn represents one conversation. Play cards and roll dice to increase your conversation points, decrease the threat level, and release hostages. Every decision takes place under pressure as you work toward resolving the crisis.

Crime Wave uses the same hand-building mechanism found in the original game. Cards you purchase go directly into your hand for the next turn, giving your future conversations new possibilities and helping shape the way you approach each negotiation.
