Imhotep: The Pharaoh’s Favors – Mini Expansion is a 2017 mini expansion for 2–4 players, presented as a promo postcard handed out at Gen Con 2017.

On your turn, you may use the card instead of taking any other action. To do so, place a stone of your color from the quarry—not from your sled—on any empty space on the card, then perform the action shown below that space.

Each special action can be used only once by the entire group. After one player uses an action, no other player may use it again, and each player may use the card only once per game. This creates a set of valuable opportunities that must be claimed at the right moment.

• Take any 2 face-up cards from the market, then refill the market from the draw pile.
• Place 1 stone on any ship, then fill your sled completely with stones from the quarry.
• Place 1 stone on any ship, change the order of the stones on that ship, and sail it.
• Place up to 2 stones on any ship, then sail that ship.
• Place up to 3 stones on any ships.

The favors offer several distinct ways to improve a turn: gather cards, load the sled, alter a ship’s stone order, sail immediately, or place multiple stones across the ships. Because every option is limited and each player can use the postcard only once, deciding when to claim a favor is central to making the most of this compact addition.
