Kingdom Builder: The Island is a mini expansion for Kingdom Builder for 2–5 players, with a listed play time of 45 minutes. It consists of a single double-sided map tile depicting an island on both sides.

This compact expansion introduces two distinct island layouts. One side features a Rope Bridge, while the other features a Tree House. Both sides also feature a city, giving each version of the island a shared landmark.

• Rope Bridge side: move a settlement onto Canyon.
• Tree House side: move a settlement onto Forest.
• Both sides: include a city.

The two-sided design lets players choose between the Rope Bridge and Tree House versions of the island map tile. The special actions are clearly tied to their respective sides: the Rope Bridge allows a settlement to move onto Canyon, while the Tree House allows a settlement to move onto Forest.

Kingdom Builder: The Island was provided for Kickstarter backers and was described as becoming available for separate sale at a future date. As a small, focused addition to Kingdom Builder, it is defined by one island tile and its two alternate configurations rather than a large collection of components.
