About this expansion
Neuroshima Hex! 3.0: Doomsday Machine is a 2–4 player board game with an approximately 30-minute play time, released in 2013. It introduces an extra army built around an unusual and highly focused set of abilities.
The Doomsday Machine is an automated, deadly trap: an intelligent security system protecting a secret base hidden in the radioactive wastelands. Its algorithm is programmed to destroy any intruder, whether that intruder is a human, a mutant, or a Moloch robot.
This army contains only shooting units, giving it a distinctive identity on the battlefield. Its essential skill is the ability to redirect shots and rotate units, with each ability available once per turn. These mechanics define the Doomsday Machine’s approach and make it stand apart from the other armies in Neuroshima Hex!
- Designed for 2–4 players
- Approximately 30 minutes of play time
- An extra army containing only shooting units
- Abilities to redirect shots and rotate units once per turn
- Included as the fifth army in the English Z-Man edition of Neuroshima Hex! 3.0
Doomsday Machine 3.0 is a reimplementation of an extra army originally given away as a freebie at Spiel 2007. Its mysterious defensive role raises an intriguing question: what could be hidden behind such a powerful security system?
For players looking to add this distinctive force to their collection, Doomsday Machine is available for purchase directly from Portal Games.
