Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island – Searching the Beach is a thematic mini-expansion for 1–4 players with a 120-minute play time. Released in 2014, it adds a special way to explore the Beach type tile during the game.

This mini-expansion contains 9 special Beach cards. When the castaways are on the Beach tile, they may take a special Gathering action instead of gathering wood or food from that tile.

Rather than collecting one of the usual resources, the players draw and resolve 1 Beach Card. These cards represent the possibility of finding precious things among the remains of the ship, adding a focused thematic element to activity on the shore.
