The Cauldron: Promo Pack #1 (fan expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse)

About this expansion

The Cauldron: Promo Pack #1 is an unofficial fan expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse, listed for 3–5 players with a 60-minute play time and released in 2016.

This pack contains alternate character cards for Cauldron hero and villain decks. It is intended for use with the Sentinels of the Multiverse card game by Greater Than Games, offering additional versions of characters from The Cauldron universe.

The included decks come from The Cauldron: Base Set and The Cauldron: Experimental. Those sets are available separately and are required to play, so this promo pack is designed as an addition to those Cauldron decks rather than a standalone game.

The 19 included cards feature alternate versions of familiar Cauldron characters, with a selection spanning heroes and villains:

• Ace of Sorrows Baccarat and Ace of Swords Baccarat
• First Response Cricket, Cypher, Doc Havoc, and Vanish
• The Berserker Knight and The Fair Knight
• Season of Change Lady of the Wood and Shardmaster Malichae
• Warden of Chaos Necro and Nightlore Council Starlight
• The Uncanny Quicksilver, Genesis Starlight, and The Rune-Carved Stranger
• Ghost Ops Tango One, Ministry of Strategic Science Titan, Evolved Anathema, and Hydra Tiamat

Several promos also have specifically credited creators. The Warden of Chaos Necro promo was designed by Geoffery Benedict, the Nightlore Council Starlight promo was conceived by Hudson Caldeira, and the Evolved Anathema promo was designed by D. Himes.

For players collecting The Cauldron content, The Cauldron: Promo Pack #1 provides a focused set of alternate character cards to add to the required hero and villain decks.
