Star Wars: The Card Game – The Battle of Hoth is a two-player Force Pack for a 60-minute game, released in 2013. As the fifth Force Pack in The Hoth Cycle, it brings the desperate opening scenes of The Empire Strikes Back to the table.

Massive, heavily armored Imperial AT-ATs advance in inexorable waves while Rebel snowspeeder pilots use daring group tactics to slow the assault. Stormtrooper legions and Imperial walkers threaten to surround, besiege, and destroy the last remnants of the Rebellion on the desolate ice planet.

The five new objective sets let players recreate the movie’s events or imagine alternate outcomes for the Battle of Hoth. The Force Pack may see the end of the Rebel Alliance, or it may create an opening for noble spies and smugglers to carry out critical espionage while the Empire’s attention is focused on Hoth.
