The Quest for El Dorado: Promo Pack – Telegram is a card expansion for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2021, it adds three new card types to the base game: Missionary, Elevation Map, and Telegram.

Set up the base game as usual, then place the three additional card piles above the market board. The pack contains three copies of each card type and is currently available with Vincent Dutrait artwork.

• Missionary: Move up to two spaces, provided each space is a village space. Ignore the spaces’ requirements, and use the card to tear down blockades with village symbols.
• Telegram: Once per game, take any one card from the market board, except another Telegram, and add it to your hand. This does not count as a purchase; remove the Telegram from the game afterward.
• Elevation Map: Move one space while ignoring that space’s requirements. It can tear down blockades and lets you move onto an occupied space or an empty mountain space. Use it only once per game, then remove it.

These special cards introduce distinct ways to navigate the map, bypass space requirements, interact with blockades, and access the market. Their limited-use effects make timing important during a game of The Quest for El Dorado.

Whether you need flexible village movement, a direct way to claim a market card, or access to otherwise difficult spaces, this promo pack gives the base game three additional card piles with clearly different abilities.
