Unsettled: Scientific Specializations is an expansion for 2–4 players that adds unique character actions to the experience, with a listed play time of 90 minutes.

This module gives each crew member a scientific specialization and a new way to contribute. By combining that specialization with environment-specific comprehension, players can unlock actions that are unique to their character.

The expansion focuses on the connection between scientific training and the strange discoveries made in the environment. As the crew gains understanding, those moments of comprehension can reveal why newly acquired knowledge matters—and how it might help everyone keep breathing a little longer.

Scientific Specializations encourages players to lean into the distinct expertise of their characters. Each “aha!” moment can open possibilities unavailable to the rest of the crew, making specialization an important part of facing whatever “this” is.
