About this expansion

Warhammer 40,000: Conquest – Against the Great Enemy is a War Pack for two players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. Released in 2016, it is the fifth War Pack in the Death World cycle and contains cards 087–108.

On the verdant yet deadly world of Nectavus VI, a rain of blood falls as the forces of Chaos run rampant. Noisome daemons and foul Warp-things seek to devour the world, while powerful Space Marines and legions of the Astra Militarum stand against them.

But the battle takes an unexpected turn when an Eldar Phoenix Lord enters the conflict. Moving invisibly and bringing death without warning, she seeks to destroy those who have brought the abomination of Chaos into the material realm. Anyone who stands in her way may also fall.

Against the Great Enemy continues the Death World cycle’s major themes with additional support for Deep Strike. New cards give units, attachments, and events fresh ways to arrive at the battlefield unseen by opposing forces, adding further options to the card pool.

  • Continue the Death World cycle with cards 087–108.
  • Deploy units, attachments, and events through additional Deep Strike cards.
  • Make elite units more effective and dangerous.
  • Command a new Eldar warlord and her signature squad of Howling Banshees.

With Chaos, the Imperium, and the Eldar drawn into the struggle, Warhammer 40,000: Conquest – Against the Great Enemy brings a new threat and new battlefield possibilities to the fight for Nectavus VI.
