About this expansion

Warhammer: Invasion – Hidden Kingdoms is a deluxe expansion for the Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, designed for 2 players with a play time of about 60 minutes. Released in 2013, it brings four previously neutral races into the ongoing war as fully developed, playable factions.

Across its 172 cards, Hidden Kingdoms introduces four capital cards and the maximum legal number of 55 different player cards. These cards develop the Lizardmen, Wood Elves, Skaven, and Undead, giving each faction its own capital, legends, units, and supports.

  • Lizardmen: A race that endured in seclusion after the collapse of the polar gates.
  • Wood Elves: One of the four major neutral races brought to life as a playable faction.
  • Skaven: A newly developed faction with its own cards and identity.
  • Undead: Another fully playable faction supported by a dedicated capital, legends, units, and supports.

Several of the new units and supports are faction-specific, helping distinguish these four additions while expanding the world of Warhammer: Invasion. The expansion also gives fans of the game’s other races more ways to strengthen their existing factions.

Those additions include new units, tactics, and Tributes. Tributes allow factions to form temporary alliances and ignore the loyalty costs for out-of-faction cards, opening new possibilities for cooperation in a world where no race can remain safely neutral.

Whether you want to command the Lizardmen, Wood Elves, Skaven, or Undead, or simply add fresh support to an established faction, Warhammer: Invasion – Hidden Kingdoms expands the game’s battlefield with new factions and cross-faction options.
