About this expansion

ASL Annual ’95 is a 1995 extra-large magazine and supplement for 2 players, created to make up for the “year without ASL” in 1994. It combines articles, a series replay, and a substantial collection of scenarios.

The publication covers a broad range of topics. Articles include Airborne Samurai, Annual Crossfire, Warriors All!, The Chestnuts of Normandy, En Garde, and The Gentle Art of Routing. It also features The Scenarios of Normandy and a series replay of Festung St. Edouard.

  • Scenarios A68–A75 include Acts of Defiance, Broich Bash, Wintergewitter, Patton’s Prayers, Italian Brothers, Not Out of the Woods Yet, Valhalla Bound, and Medal of Honor.
  • Scenarios A76–A83 include Night Drop, Hide & Seek, Prelude to Breakout, Mike Red, Commando Schenke, They Fired on Odessa…, Orange at Walawbum, and Last of Their Strength.
  • Scenarios A84–A90 include Endless Struggle, Airborne Samurai, Fighting Sparrow, The Grand Canal, Surprise Encounter, First Day of Diadem, and Cutting Out a Strongpoint, along with DA13, The Mailed Fist.

The supplement came with an outer cardstock cover containing overlays for Deluxe ASL. However, those overlays were printed at the wrong size. With its mix of written material and scenarios, ASL Annual ’95 offers a substantial snapshot of ASL content from 1995.
