About this expansion

Warhammer 40,000: Conquest – Jungles of Nectavus is a two-player War Pack for games lasting about 45 minutes, released in 2016. It contains cards 001–020 of the Death World cycle and introduces the cycle’s hostile jungle setting, themes, and mechanics.

On Nectavus VI, the entire planet is covered by jungle, and almost everything within it is dangerous. Poisonous spikes, unseen attacks from the shadows, crushing strength, and relentless resilience make this an unquestionable Death World—and the latest battleground in the struggle for the Traxis sector.

Every faction enters the jungles of Nectavus VI, requiring new tactics to survive the hostile environment. Drawing attention to yourself can be a death sentence, so the pack introduces a new keyword that allows cards to be deployed secretly and revealed only as battle approaches.

  • Contains cards 001–020 of the Death World cycle.
  • Introduces the cycle’s jungle setting and core themes.
  • Adds secret deployment, allowing cards to remain hidden until battle is about to begin.
  • Places a new emphasis on Elite units across every faction.

The Death World cycle also brings Elite units into sharper focus, making them a more integral part of your armies than ever before. Building your forces and deciding when to reveal your plans become especially important while fighting through this deadly environment.

With its dangerous setting and emphasis on concealment and Elite forces, Jungles of Nectavus serves as the opening chapter of the Death World cycle for Warhammer 40,000: Conquest.
