ASL Roma 2020

About this expansion

ASL Roma 2020 is a 1–2 player map and scenario pack for Advanced Squad Leader, featuring one new geomorphic mapboard and four scenarios set across Greece, Corsica, and Italy.

Produced by MMP with the joint efforts of Federazione Italiana Wargame and ASL Italia for the Rome Wargame Gathering in October 2020, this pack is designed for the Advanced Squad Leader aficionado. It is not a complete game and requires ownership of the core Advanced Squad Leader system.

The centerpiece is mapboard 86, an 8″ × 22″ geomorphic board that expands the locations available for ASL scenarios. The pack also includes four new scenarios by Sebastiano Caltabiano, Paolo Cariolato, Ken Dunn, and Pete Shelling, with actions featuring Italian, Greek, German, French Partisan, New Zealand, and American forces.

With scenarios ranging from five to eight turns, ASL Roma 2020 offers a focused collection of engagements for players who already have the core system. Its combination of a fresh geomorphic board, varied forces, and distinct historical locations makes it a compact addition to an Advanced Squad Leader collection.
