About this expansion

Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Suicide Squad Expansion is a campaign expansion for 2–4 players, with approximately 90 minutes of play time. It puts players in control of Task Force X, better known as the Suicide Squad, across a three-mission Adventure Mode mini-campaign.

When the government needs a dirty job completed, these former ex-cons are unleashed to handle threats that demand questionable methods. An eternal danger involving time travel and metahumans challenges the squad, while the choices made during the campaign shape how the threat is handled.

At the beginning of each mission, players can assemble a new team or continue with the anti-heroes chosen previously. The available characters come from three groups: Leaders, Squad S, and Squad X. Each anti-hero enters play with a preset selection of equipment, and all Suicide Squad characters are compatible with Versus mode and feature individual powers.

• 10 new miniatures and 13 hero screens
• 11 tiles and 15 equipment cards
• A 14-character anti-hero selection pool when Katana is included
• QR codes that reveal additional campaign information after each mission

The expansion also adds the Belle-Reve Guards tile to the available henchmen and elite pool. These upgraded veterans can perform complex actions, although they cannot share a mission with the Guards tile, creating a meaningful choice before each scenario. Their hindering skill can make pursuing an enemy leader or lieutenant especially difficult.

Additional core box components can expand the anti-hero mission pool and strengthen the campaign’s thematic mix, including characters, equipment, guards, and carnivorous plants.
