Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Wayne Manor Expansion is an expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2019, it adds two iconic locations, seven playable heroes, new allies, and scenarios centered on Batman’s strongholds.

The expansion includes the Wayne Manor and Batcave game boards, with three scenarios for each location. The Batcave is divided into four connected boards and linked by an elevator, splitting character movement and encouraging careful coordination for both heroes and villains. Some scenarios also lead from the Batcave to other buildings connected with Batman Inc.

Not every component is used in every scenario, giving the locations greater replayability. The Batcave is packed with defenses, including bat-robots, while the trophy room is guarded by the imposing mechanized T-Rex. Controlled using a double tile, this powerful sentry cannot perform manipulation or thought actions, but it can unleash tremendous strength and cause serious mayhem.

• New heroes: Red Robin, Batwing, Batman Armored Suit, Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Oracle, and Julia Pennyworth.
• New allies: T-Rex, Bats, and Bat Robots, represented by tiles for scenarios, the Command skill, and the Versus expansion.
• Specialists: Oracle commands three characters and can push allies into extra moves, while Alfred combines tactical support with the ability to defend his loved ones.

Armored Suit Batman brings the expansion’s highest-risk melee potential, using black dice that can deliver tremendous damage but may also miss completely. His armor also provides the strongest defense among the heroes. Together, these additions make Wayne Manor Expansion a striking collection of tactical options, memorable characters, and richly themed locations.
