About this expansion

Keyflower: Sorcerer is a 2018 village tile for Keyflower, a game for 2–6 players with a 120-minute play time. This tile adds a distinct worker-placement action to the owner’s village.

When a player places one or more workers on the Sorcerer tile, they take the action on any one adjacent tile in the owner’s village. The Sorcerer therefore connects its worker placement to the surrounding village layout.

If the Sorcerer has been upgraded, its action becomes broader. Workers placed on the upgraded tile allow the player to take the action of any one other tile in the owner’s village, rather than being limited to an adjacent tile.

  • A new village tile for Keyflower
  • Uses worker placement to trigger another tile’s action
  • An upgraded Sorcerer can reach any other tile in its owner’s village

The tile also has a specific restriction during bidding. Workers cannot be placed on the Sorcerer while it is being bid for, because the tile is not adjacent to any other tile at that time and the placement would have no effect.

Published as a tile-only release, Keyflower: Sorcerer was offered exclusively through the BoardGameGeek store in Q2 2018. Its simple placement condition and upgraded ability define how this addition operates within a player’s village.
