About this expansion

Combopolis II is a 1–4 player card game played in about 15 minutes, combining Sprawlopolis and Naturopolis into one urban environment filled with natural features.

This six-card combo pack introduces a variant that removes card-passing from both standalone games. Instead, shuffle the two game decks separately, then reveal one card from each deck to create two scoring conditions. Draw a third card from the combo pack to reveal the final scoring condition.

A separate combo-pack card serves as the starting tile. It displays two blocks from the terrains included in the respective games, establishing the beginning of the shared environment.

  • Draw one card from each game deck on every turn.
  • Choose one card to play and discard the other.
  • Keep both decks progressing at the same rate.
  • End the game after the last two cards are drawn and played or discarded.

Scoring rewards the largest two block groups from each game. Individual roads cost points, while the three revealed scoring-condition cards determine additional ways to gain or lose points.

Combopolis II offers a compact planning challenge built around choices between two decks. Each turn asks you to decide which card best supports your developing layout while accounting for both urban and natural terrain, the road penalty, and the three active scoring conditions.
