Twilight Struggle: Promo Deck

About this expansion

Twilight Struggle: Promo Deck is a 2015 promotional card-and-component set for 2 players, featuring eight cards, an alternate Space Race Track board, and a special Zaire counter.

These materials were included as promo decks #1 and #2 with the Twilight Struggle digital Kickstarter. The set comprises four card sheets with descriptions of the cards, providing a dedicated presentation for the included content.

The eight-card selection brings together a range of named events and subjects. The cards included in Twilight Struggle: Promo Deck are:

• Non-Aligned Movement
• Mobutu Sese Seko
• Berlin Wall
• Stanislav Petrov
• Who Lost China?
• “Don’t Wait for the Translation”
• “Kremlin Flu”
• “First Lightning”

Alongside the cards, the set adds an alternate board for the Space Race Track. It also includes a special Zaire counter, which is used on the board if the “Mobutu Sese Seko” event card is activated.

With its focused collection of promotional cards and supporting components, this set offers a compact addition associated with the digital Kickstarter release. Its contents are clearly defined: eight cards, four card-description sheets, an alternate Space Race Track board, and the event-specific Zaire counter.
