About this expansion

Zooloretto: Goodie-Box is a collection of five mini-expansions for Zooloretto or Aquaretto, designed for 2–5 players and released in 2012. Together, these additions introduce new ways to store animals, gain coins, build connections, claim unique tiles, and plan your spending.

For Zooloretto, the Familiarisation Area fits around the zoo board and holds one animal tile for free. The animal does not score points, but it can be moved into the zoo at no cost or traded for an animal in another familiarisation area for one coin, providing temporary storage during the game.

The Petting Zoo gives each player a separate space for up to two baby animals. Placing the first animal earns one coin, while placing the second earns two coins. These animals cannot be moved and do not generate points.

  • The Trains: Eighteen train tiles in four colors, plus curved tracks, are mixed with the other tiles. Each train must be placed in an empty zoo space and connect to existing train tiles. Each train type is worth two points at game’s end.
  • Three Coworker Tiles: Three different tiles are placed in the center of the table and can be claimed when players get coworkers. Once claimed, a tile cannot be used by another player.
  • The Savings Book: Instead of taking a normal action, a player can place a coin on space 1. At the end of each round, it advances one space and returns the coin with an extra coin when it reaches 4.

With modules for either game and four expansions previously published in other expansion packs, Zooloretto: Goodie-Box offers a varied set of optional additions for animal-park play.
