Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – The Batmobile Expansion is a 2019 expansion for 2–4 players, with an estimated play time of 90 minutes. It adds the Batmobile and three scenarios to Batman: Gotham City Chronicles.

The Batmobile is played by the heroes, but it does not function independently as a hero. Instead, heroes control the vehicle through a special tile that gives it a powerful role during each scenario.

Use the Batmobile to reshape the battlefield and respond to groups of enemies. Its special capabilities allow heroes to create shortcuts by destroying walls or to neutralize hordes of villains, opening new tactical possibilities as the action unfolds.

The expansion’s three scenarios revisit maps from the wider game line:

• One scenario takes place on the Bank map from the base game.
• One scenario uses the Batcave map from the Wayne Manor expansion.
• One scenario is set on the Jokerland map from the Arkham Asylum expansion.

These scenarios give the Batmobile a dedicated showcase across three different locations. Players can experience the vehicle’s wall-destroying shortcuts and crowd-controlling abilities while using the appropriate map for each mission.
