About this expansion

Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – The Sewers & GCPD Maps Expansion is a map-focused expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. It adds a double-sided game board featuring the claustrophobic Gotham City Sewers on one side and the GCPD Police Headquarters on the other.

The Sewer map is a maze of walls, snug quarters, obstructed lines of sight, and a hazardous sluice separating major areas. Height differences can open valuable firing lines and provide the promontory bonus, while movement across the water or between boundaries can quickly consume your resources. Mobile and parkour-capable characters are especially valuable here, able to cross obstacles, strike behind enemy lines, or reinforce threatened areas.

At the Police Headquarters, long corridors, intermittent columns, multiple levels, and enclosed rooms create a different tactical challenge. Players may need to protect or destroy compromising evidence, release important prisoners, or secure objectives in cells, interrogation rooms, and the medical examiner’s facility. Central areas offer tempting lines of sight, while offices, archives, columns, and elevated routes reward careful movement.

  • 10 new Versus missions: two each for the Sewers, Police Headquarters, Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum, and Joker’s Funhouse maps.
  • 8 new objective tokens introducing new objective types and hidden objectives.
  • A double tile and life-points marker for Batman’s Trasher Suit.
  • Leader powers for the new Season 2 miniatures, allowing them to be selected as Versus Leaders.

With distinct terrain, challenging sight lines, and scenarios across several Gotham locations, this expansion gives Batman: Gotham City Chronicles more ways to stage focused skirmishes and reward strategic positioning.
