Terraforming Mars: Mars Nomads Promo Card

About this expansion

Terraforming Mars: Mars Nomads Promo Card is a promotional card for 1–5 players, featured in games with a play time of 120 minutes. Released in 2024, it adds the Mars Nomads as an active card with no tags.

When its action is used, move the Nomads to an adjacent, non-reserved, empty area on the game board. The Nomads are represented by a gold cube, which is placed on the chosen area.

The card lets you gain placement bonuses as if you had placed a special tile there. This makes the Nomads’ movement the central feature of the card, while preserving the restrictions that apply to the destination area.

• Active card with no tags
• Nomads represented by a gold cube
• Movement to an adjacent, non-reserved, empty area
• Placement bonuses gained as if placing a special tile
• No tiles may be placed on the Nomad area

The Nomads must first be placed on a non-reserved, empty area on the board. Afterward, the action moves them to an eligible adjacent area, offering a distinct way to interact with board spaces and their placement bonuses.

Mars Nomads is Promo Card X59. It was included in the Kickstarter for Prelude 2 and is also planned to be available in limited quantities at select board game conventions.
