About this expansion

Valeria: Card Kingdoms – Expansion Pack #04: Peasants & Knights is a card expansion for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. It adds new Peasant and Knight cards to Valeria: Card Kingdoms, bringing greater variety to every game.

The Peasant from the base game has grown tired of goblins attacking his farm and the Royal Guard taking food from his children. Promised riches in exchange for helping claim the throne of Valeria, he marches into battle with little more than a hoe, a barrel lid, and a meager carrot harvest in his coat pocket.

The new Knight comes from the shadow of Mt. Ostendaar, where a warrior race has mastered alchemy. As fiery demons pour from the once-dormant volcano, this eager young fighter joins Valeria’s defense with a sharp spear, a spiked chain mace, and potion “grenades” tied to her armor.

With its contrasting stories of humble farm workers and alchemically equipped warriors, Peasants & Knights expands the character pool while adding more flavor to the battle for Valeria. The expansion was included in the Kickstarter expansion Flames and Frost and was released in 2018.
