About this expansion

Carcassonne: Die Kornkreise is a mini-expansion for 2–6 players that adds six corn-circle tiles to Carcassonne.

Known in English as The Corn Circles or The Crop Circles, this is the seventh official mini-expansion for Carcassonne. Each tile depicts a corn circle made from corn stalks and introduces a special follower choice when it is used.

A corn circle tile allows a player to affect a feature they have already claimed. The player may either place a second follower on that feature or return an already-placed follower to their supply.

Carcassonne: Die Kornkreise first appeared in Germany as a bonus expansion shrinkwrapped with the Carcassonne base game. It was later made available directly from the publisher Hans im Glück.

A second set of six tiles, known as Carcassonne: Corn Circles II, was included across six Carcassonne mini-expansions, with one tile in each expansion. These additional tiles can be used on their own or combined with the tiles from the first expansion.

Released in 2010, this compact addition belongs to the Carcassonne series and focuses on the distinctive corn-circle tiles and their two follower-related options.
