Carcassonne: The School is a mini-expansion for the Carcassonne series for 2–6 players, with a playing time of approximately 30 minutes.

Released at Spiel 2011, this special edition addition celebrates ten years of Carcassonne. It was created as part of the Rainbow Over Ghana school-building program, giving the release a charitable purpose alongside its place in the Carcassonne line.

The expansion was bundled with the new Dominion promotional card “Carcassonne”/“Walled Village”. This pairing connects the Carcassonne anniversary celebration with a promotional release for Dominion, making the package notable to fans of both series.
