The Finland map presents a lake-studded landscape, alongside an early connection to Russia and the later importance of Sweden. Its geography and featured connections provide the defining context for this Age of Steam setting.

The Portugal map stretches across a long 30-inch layout, joining the mountainous north with the flat south. Lisbon occupies the center, while the importance of Lisbon and Porto is emphasized throughout the map.
